Ignite Boulder 4

Last night was the 4th Ignite Boulder event, hosted by the talented community organizer Andrew Hyde at the University of Colorado.

Like other Ignite Boulder events, the night was a mix of informative and humorous presentations, however, last night included way more dancing, and a battle of the pitch decks as an interlude.

My favorites were the translation of the theme song from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to old English by David Mason and a very informative presentation by Ryan Wagner on what to do when your mom joins Facebook. Nicole Glaros got everyone out of their seats and dancing (photo above) with her how-to’s on Ninja dancing, and Lilly Justman brought us the “holy crap” moment of the night with her presentation on peak oil (photo below).

I had trouble with the lighting, but there are a few other shots on Flickr. Well done everyone who put the night together, including the sponsors: Sun Startup Essentials and Deschutes Brewery.
