It’s always great to hear about friends launching new businesses. Recently one of my co-workers, Maggie Wickes, started a company called Bluebird Candy Dish selling classic candy dishes, paired with complementary candies, if so desired.
The styles of the glassware and candy pairings are testament to Maggie’s impeccable taste, and the company’s mission to “revive the candy dish and its long tradition of treating guests well” reflects the fond memories many of us have of our grandmother’s candy dishes (my grandmother had a never-empty M&M dish). The also make great gifts for engagements, birthdays, and of course, the holidays.
