I’ve carried a moelskin around for about a year now. I always kept a journal on vacation, but this time it just stuck with me. First, I read this book called Presentation Zen that talked about drafting in analog (i.e. pen and paper) to create slide presentations. I balked. I scoffed. Then I tried it. It became immediately clear that I created slides that I wouldn’t have thought of if I designed in slideware. I was hooked.
So imagine my surprise when I saw this post on VentureBlog about keeping notebooks. I had no idea it was trend. I sat down in one of my classes just this week and a good friend pulled out a notebook. I’ve never seen him with a notebook. Ever. He just started using one.
